We can design devices or structural elements from scratch. With a thorough knowledge of welding, fabrication, materials and erection practices a practical solution can always be found. We’ve also worked with Engineers and Engineering companies as part of their design team to offer these services.

We have 18 years of experience providing steel detailing services for the aeronautical industry. Detailing for this industry often involves moving parts, machining and tolerances not common in the industry. Experience: VIF for ULA, VAB Doors, LC39A for SpaceX, LC40 for SpaceX, SLS Mobile Launcher for NASA and SLC-37 for ULA. We have extensive experience with projects where part of the contract documents have been replaced by engineering models. We take these models and develop them further until we have a fully coordinated steel detailing model. We can import a variety of engineering model exports like Creo, Pro/E and SolidWorks and we’re using Tekla Structures to develop the final steel detailing model. Outside of the aeronautical industry we have 35 years of detailing experience in Europe and America with any imaginable project that involves structural and misc. metals.

We will organize weekly meetings with all the team players, clash check and coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical models using Tekla BimSight. This will be done following a strict schedule to improve and finalize these individual models prior to the release of shop drawings for approval.

We offer every aspect of the detailing process, including analysis and/or connection design, lift plans and BIM management. We have the capacity to detail large structural steel projects of 1000’s of tons, but we’ll put as much heart and soul into detailing a single stair.
